Arabian Nights is her second book and is still available as so called restored version by Metamorphosis, a published house in Bucharest. Collection of largely Middle Eastern and Indian stories. Started in 946 and still going strong today! The king was upset was his wife because she betrayed him so he killed her and all the men she was with. Then he married and constantly killed his wife the next day. So he ran out of women to marry, so the daughter Scheherazade asked her father to arrange the marriage to the sultan and so she started to tell a continuous tale so the king couldn’t kill her because he wanted to hear the next story. This went on for 1001 nights. Then he was fascinated and gave up the cruel practice and lived happily ever after!!

*Please note, during the Chautauqua Summer Season (the last Saturday in June through the last Saturday in August) rooms are rented by the week, from Saturday to Saturday. We are open year-round and welcome 2-nights during the rest of the year.
