Experienced Cook
Prep and dinner cook position available for boutique hotel duties/qualifications include:
Preparing for service, which includes ensuring the kitchen is well stocked with the necessary ingredients, as well as cleaning, cutting and marinating food.
• Cooking and serving food, while coordinating with other kitchen staff and wait staff
• Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen
• Creating new dishes and planning menus
• Ensuring that dishes meet high standards at all stages of preparation and presentation
• Ability to work as part of a team and coordinate tasks with others
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to details
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Ability to work efficiently while under time pressure
• Creativity and an imaginative approach to food presentation
Job Type: Part-time
Expected Hours: 20- 30 per week
Shift: Evening shift
Experience: 1-2 years restaurant experience needed
Work Location: In person
