Wellness Retreat
This three-day workshop will focus on the healing
properties of moving the body and breath through
yoga postures, and the personal discoveries of
the peace of meditation using the Chopra Center’s
Primordial Sound Meditation technique.
Cindy Hungerford
Cindy is a Chopra Center Certified Meditation instructor,
and a certified yoga instructor registered with
yoga alliance. She has a studio in Medina, NY,
and teaches on location for corporations and
institutions. Born in San Diego, California she
finds herself returning often to California for
inspiration from her mentors at the Chopra Center,
and to Santa Barbara where she received her first
certification for yoga at the White Lotus Foundation
in 2001. |

Flannery O'Connor said that anyone who
survived childhood has enough material to
write for the rest of his or her life. She's
right, of course. But writing about yourself
and your crazy (or not-so-crazy) family can
be the big vein, if you're ready, or the

help you dig among your stuff and get it
down on paper in some interesting, funny,
enlightening, compelling, readable and possibly

Open to writers who want to learn the personal
essay or work on a long-form memoir, this
course will cover what you need to go from
idea to page to publication.
