The November 2002 issue of Golf Digest Magazine named Jamestown, NY as "The Best Little Golf Town in America". Jamestown walked away with the top prize, number one of 314 areas surveyed. The article says rankings were based on access, value, and weather. That's right, WEATHER. In fact, three of the top five "best little golf towns" are in the state of New York!
