Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History
View world class nature exhibits, Nature Store, hike the 27 acres of wooded trails, enjoy the butterfly garden. One of the four locations for the annual Nature Art Festival held each August.
Named in honor of America's preeminent naturalist of the twentieth century, the Institute is based in Jamestown, NY, the birthplace of Dr. Peterson. The facility was built, in part, to house the Collection and lifetime body of work of this great naturalist.
